DUE to the unprecedented success of last year’s “Sine Totoo,” GMA Network is once again bringing the best of its news and public affairs programs to the big screen.
Wanting only the best for its loyal viewers, the network now gears up for a bigger and more spectacular second year offering – the “Sine Totoo Weekend” which will be held from June 24-25 at SM Megamall Cinema 4, as part of GMA’s 56th anniversary celebration.
Get the chance to personally meet some of the biggest names in GMA News and Public Affairs – Mike Enriquez, Jessica Soho, Arnold Clavio, Vicky Morales, Howie Severino, Kara David, Jay Taruc, Sandra Aguinaldo, Jiggy Manicad, Maki Pulido, Rhea Santos, Ivan Mayrina, Paolo Bediones, and Miriam Quiambao.
Screenings begin at 11:40 a.m. with eye-opening documentaries about Pinoy children today, which include “Imbestigador’s Buhay Bata,” “I- Witness’ Boy Pusit,” “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’s Kambal,” “Wish Ko Lang’s Estudyante,” and “I-Witness’ Uuwi na si Udong.”
These will be followed at 2 p.m. by different stories of hope – “Wish Ko lang’s The Good Samaritans,” “Pinoy Abroad’s Pag- tratrabaho sa France at Dubai,” “Reporter’s Notebook’s Pinoy sa Everest,” “I-Witness’ Abakada ni Inay,” and “Imbestigador’s Pinoy, Tapat Ka Ba?”
Documentaries touching on harsh realities, which require parental guidance, follow at 4:30 p.m. These include “I-Witness’ Gutom,” “Reporter’s Notebook’s Makahayop?” “Emergency’s Pagpag,” and “I-Witness’ Multo ng Nakaraan.” Each screening is followed by an open forum with some of the program’s hosts.
