there’s this comic i used to follow The Born Loser, where a joke goes about how the harrassed guy’s wife threw away their fire extinguisher because “We never get to use it anyway!”.

I got to do something productive today! I finally managed to put Google Ads onto my project Broadband Exchange. I actually manage five or so PHPBB installations, but bEx (as I like to call it), is mine and mine alone, which allows me to a.) screw it up if I feel like it and b.) put humongous Google Ads again, should the wind blow in that direction.
At any rate, let me list down what I did, partially for myself, and mostly really for whoever else out there who wants to learn this stuff. But firstly some groundrules:
no doubt ym is one of my absolute favorite instant messengers and an essential for me to keep in touch with clients (“clients” being my official term for any sort of contacts including friends, ex-gfs, enemies, batchmates, relatives and all sorts of riffraff. Actual clients actually number about 5%).
I was supposed to write 2,500 to 3000 words about Google, which by two accounts I can think of, is a difficult task. 1.) Google just launched Google Talk and Google Desktop, both of which are supposedly momentous events in Internet history, Google being who they are and Instant Messengers / VOIP being what it is. I therefore still have a lot of thoughts to go over with in respect to that, and my mind is pretty much scattered today. 2.) Like I said, my mind is pretty much scattered today, and every other hour my itchy trigger finger keeps clicking the Grand Theft Auto icon, and play it for awhile. I can’t explain it. One second I’m clicking the browser to read up on Google history and soak up the Google company blog, and the next second I’m studying how to make Carl Johnson fire a Tec-9 submachine gun from a 600cc motorcycle, to effectively off a bad guy fleeing in a Dodge Viper, in the middle of the city. Tsk tsk.
what am I missing here, and why are there so many phpmyadmin themes?

Two for one mag and another for a broadsheet. I’m scheduled to forward one more on Friday and another on Monday, all of them tech related btw.
Yes that’s right, I’m on a writing ‘spree’, and I can’t wait to write even more.

haaaaaay. title says everything. Un-believ-able game. Sordid details to come in the following weeks. Likely will add details of what happens when a game takes you away from pending obligations from work, friends and others as well :). I’m already feeling the effects of how it is to neglect your body by playing instead of getting much needed sleep – cooperative weather notwithstanding. Suffice it to say 4 day download of the 3.9gb install files well worth it.
One thing though:

and unbelievably so, considering I fairly gave up after waiting that long.

Just finished playing around with the Fujitsu P7010 I was leant for review for a week and a half as I mentioned in my last post. I was determined to get everything back to the default spec like when I got it, so I reformatted and reinstalled everything using the recovery CD it came with. Let’s see, I took a screenshot of the desktop meaning to show the Intel Wifi bubble showing that I was connected, and it says 6:30AM.
then i realized i didnt know something after doing this for xx years,
what’s a compelling reason to use the long reformat method as opposed to the much shorter quick format?
