The little guy likes hammocks. As in really really likes them (thanks Char for the pic!).
His yaya in fact made one up at our in – laws house just because he likes them so much.
And so we would be remiss in our duties if we wouldn’t provide him one at home. I have had some experience setting one up years ago, so I gathered the necessary materials:
Including some chain, two hooks, appropriate tox, a hammock of course, and the biggest drill bit I’ve ever bought.
We planned to put it on top of our bed for an extra margin of safety. And so after covering our mattress and drilling a couple of holes, voila:
I guarantee it!
Note: As of writing this I haven’t tested it with Ace yet. I have a slight worry it might roll over since he’s so light. It’s actually more stable if you’re heavier, so we’ll see.
