and unbelievably so, considering I fairly gave up after waiting that long.
See, exchangeph is an ‘alias’ of sorts for my ‘real’ account if you can call it that, ghmercado(at)rocketmail. Incidentally, I’m glad I have a rocketmail account, which is probably the rarest free email account around since after Yahoo bought it up a hundred years ago (more like 8 or 10 actually, my has the internet been around that long?. Anyway to the uninitiated Yahoo basically just took rocketmail’s subscribers then subsequently took the service down, and now I just checked, it really is gone now. :(
At any rate the (super exciting – not) story is, I use the exchangeph alias (named after the one and only domain I own btw), the most, initially to serve as a way to communicate with people who joined up on my old site Cell Exchange, but as it went I used it for most everyone else as well. I initially got started on using it for (the excellent imho) Yahoo Calendar, and My Yahoo to keep track of NBA games. But the problem is, there was NO EMAIL for some odd reason. The rocketmail email account still worked alright, in fact I use it specifically for super important mail like those from domain hosts and such, however no go for exchangeph.
Until today that is, when almost as a lark, I sent a cry for help, and guess what? They answered!

Incredible! Unbelievable! Increlieavable!
Previous to this, Yahoo was famous for not having any customer service at all. It even had a program of sorts trying to induce people to make personal websites that’d provide support for Y! users, any of which is where I learned all about Y! not having any customer service at all, hence they decided to help.
Of course, likely that Nick is some dude in Subic, and of course, I had been trying and trying to do exactly what he asked me to for five years before he did, and suddenly it worked when I sent that email… but hey it worked im not gonna complain no more!
