whew. These’ll have to do for now. Once again work has piled up during my absence and needs to be pounded down to realistic levels. But if I were to summarize the trip, two things basically stand out, namely:

the terrific room I had at the Hilton Malaysia, and

the absolutely terrific food they stuffed us with. Haay, somebody has to do it. More in a post later. Ciao!
UPDATE Feb. 20, 2006: I’ve just been informed the Nokia 6103 and 6125 will not be available in the Philippines.
The 6070 looks like the successor of the 6020… that’s the type of phone I need, basic but with still/video cam. Should I wait for it, or get a SE K600i now (around 11K).
I already got the 6020 from the Globe retention plan. My mom and bro use it.
My 3530 is starting to stop working after nearly 3 years.
Oops… the 11K SE phone is K700i.
the 600 is the expensive 3G/UMTS phone (25+)
aaah… so you’re jill’s gary :)
@migs my notes during the interview says that the 6070 is for ‘people who own a phone without a camera, and is moving up (to their first one)’. It’s the simplest and probably cheapest in the lineup.
The 6103 is the bluetooth update of the 6101.
@tessa hello, yes I’m Jill’s Gary. :)
tessa: maka-uwaw man ka uy!
I still proudly use my trusty 3310. It is quite easy to send SMS messages and voice calls are quite clear. However, if the price is low enough, I might go for the 6070. The simpleness of the design is attractive and having a phone with a camera may have its benefits. :)
I want to know about a phone .
